oh well, here i am again after 3months of haitus. well, there are a lot of happenings and changes for the past three months! July I worked a lot of overtime. just whacked only - free flow of OT (and i missed it so much now). Also the OT money was needed for my much awaited trip to Australia at the end of July... while i was working OT, i was looking for other jobs as well. secured an interview and immediately was hired on the spot during the interview. i think i did well in promoting myself during the interview. hahahaha. actually i didnt wanna leave my old company. had a good life. made good friends and had a terrific manager and it was a happening workplace. i asked my manager to counter offer me and she worked on it. except that the higher management was too blind and dumb to see how valueable i was to the organisation operations. too bad, the higher management didnt even consider to counter offer me until the very last minute. but it was too late. my great grandmother passed away that very evening 20th July 2010 at SGH. she was 97 years old. i believe she had a good life and was happy. may you rest in peace and insyallah your sins will be forgiven and may Allah protect you always. the next day, i signed my agreement letter with my new company. S&W Heat Exchangers as a Purchasing Executive. I was glad to get a new job with a higher post and better salary. a few days later (24 August 2010), me and gf flew to Australia for a one week trip! it was a trip of my life and i love AUSTRALIA. Stayed in sydney for 4 days 3 nights and flew domestically to Brisbane where we spent another 4 days 3 nights at Queensland. it was like a honeymoon trip for us and i wished we could have stayed there longer. nevertheless, there's always a next time and other places to visit! August the highlight of this month was my first ever family car! KIA CERATO FORTE! hehehehe i love it. anyway, after we came back from the trip, i continued working at panduit for another 3weeks and when 3 weeks was up, it was time to say goodbye. those wonderful people in panduit bought me a nice parting gift. a Kenzo perfume and a g-shock watch! freaking awesome mate! 23rd August was my first day @ S&W Heat Exchangers. :) met new people from different nationalties. so far work is good however its pretty challenging because i am new in the oil & gas industry and to talk about purchasing? i am totally new it in! and i dont even have any technical background to learn about raw materials in metal. BUT one thing i can be assured is that i am a fast learner and will be able to get through all this obstacles. :) September It was a challenging month and i was able to go through fasting month smoothly. alhamdullilah. :) Though i though it was smooth, first day hari raya was normal but came at night, my beloved grandfather collapsed and never woke up again. he was sent to NUH and was diganosed with a burst blood vessel in the brain due to high blood pressure. technically, he was brain dead and it was too late for anything. he passed away peacefully the next morning after subuh at 6.40am, 11 September 2010. prior to his collapsed, we visited him as usual for hari raya ard 4pm. he was normal and happy. i was glad to be able to talk to him and ask for his forgiveness before we left. and when we left his house, he looked out from the corridor to see us walk to the carpark and he even waved his hand goodbye to us. that was the very last time we saw him alive. and 2 days before hari raya, he actually rode his electric bicycle from taman jurong to jurong west just to visit my family. he was so happy to see our cats and it was the last time we will ever his him through our doors. all this events somehow made me think that maybe my grandfather knew that he is going away. insyallah, he will be forgiven for all his sin and may Allah protect him always. i've got nothing else to say. it made me sad to blog about it. i am on 2 days MC for high fever and influenza. i think my bosses at work are not happy about it. anyways, i dont care so much. its my own health that i should be worried about. i just want to let anyone reading this to know that i love my girlfriend AMALINA who had always been so good and a sweetheart to me and my family. let us pray to Allah that we will have long healthy life. insyallah. :)
