this week passed by damn fast ah! it was just like how it used to be when i was back at work... i got two weeks left before i am going back to work, but it depends on my medical review tomorrow. if doctor extends my leave, i will gladly accept it. =) been fetching gf from work everyday. must do this everyday because once i start work, there's no way i can fetch her from work on weekdays. also, been riding again. i am really glad and appreciate that amalina allows me to ride our bike again. i really took good care of the bike. spent almost 2hours to wash, clean and wax the bike yesterday. and today, went off to JB to change its tyres! have to change because of safety issues. =) well, we meet a few friends too this week. most are her friends. on Friday had a dinner with mira & azhar over at marina square for Manhattan fish market. their promo CNY meal is so worth it! the lobster are fantastic! hahaha. well, agenda to meet up was for a discussion for our Australia trip in late June. so we are set to go touring free and easy to two cities in AU. gonna take lots of time to plan and do budgeting. on Saturday, i sent gf to work and brought the bike back home. like i said earlier, i washed the bike. fetch her back again at 12 noon but ended waiting for 1hour 40mins for her! haiyoo... but nvm la. i understand she has to put in a lot of effort for her department audit which is coming up real soon. i am glad she appreciated my help this week in doing up diagrams which she needed most. =) after which, we proceed to a friend's place for a small party to welcome him back home after a month plus in a hospital. i delighted to see that he is recovering well and to have such a strong will and fighting spirit to overcome his injuries and his disability. i will see you in a few days time for Muse concert man! speaking of MUSE, their concert is just around the corner! been waiting eagerly for almost two months!! hahaha then in the evening, head back to tampines and meet up with ain & imran. another couple trip to plan with. initial plan is to go cameron highlands... but changed the destination to phuket. i am okay with anything but soon had a reality checked in between. how am i suppose to get the money?? phuket in may and Australia in june/july. d'oh! i really have to be stingy and thrifty from now onwards. =( then come today (Sunday), went off to JB together with amalina and her younger bro. so two 2B bikes head off to 2nd link. it was our first time riding there. riding at 110km/hr feels great but its very dangerous when there's strong winds. having to battle the wind, we must always be alert and stabilise the bike immediately when a sudden surge of wind is passing by. i think bigger bikes should not have much worries unlike our 200cc bike. oh well, changed to a new dunlop tt900 tyres. i feel like doing some modification to the bike but no money now la... got other priorities already. =( ok, gtg sleep now.. |
