all this thoughts of friends getting into bike accident, losing a limb and badly injured, makes me really have a lot of thoughts going on especially with my gf riding it to work everyday. i know its very cheap and convinient to ride but we are compromising our safety and life once we ride. haiz... if i am going to get a car, it is going to drain my pocket but nonetheless, it is something that we have to pay for safety and comfort. hmm must save smart and get a car no matter what. anyway, had lunch with my bosses as well as a guest from India. over lunch, i talked to them over my pay rise as well as my prospect for my current company. i know 2009 was a pretty bad year but somehow things got so much better after June 2009. my pay rise and bonuses in 2009 were freezed and my boss knew that i am clearly unhappy about it. she understood my feelings and even supported and willing to let me go if i were to get a better opportunity outside. but somehow or rather, i felt that they are not doing so much to push for my welfare and for what they had promised me. come april, hopefully i will be getting a raise. anything below than $300, i will go. actually right now i am looking for other jobs but kinda skeptical about it because what i ask for could be too much. but heck, i will just try my luck. =) i can't wait for the weekend to go swim and do some other activities.
