selamat hari raya to all my muslim friends! im gonna miss ramadan.... and gotta wait for another 1 year for it... to date, i was working almost 6days a week during ramadan. it was so challenging but i managed to pull it through. =) yeah, was working part time at barclays at raffles quay last saturday. it was so worth it. got paid alot for just a few hours of work. thanks touchbaseglobal! and thanks to the project manager for letting us home early so that we could be at home to prepare for hari raya the next day. =) hope that there's more work from them again soon. i dont mind fixing IP phones in offices. quite at simple job for a good amount of money. left early, rode back to tampines for gf to change and set ourselves off to bugis. wanted to breakfast @ hajah maimunah... but too bad, it was close for business. gf went for some shopping around bugis... and then on, had our first proper breaking fast together for this ramadan. previously, it was all with friends and having take away food. =) i am always emotional on the night of hari raya.... i would tear when i listen the takbir. hahaha! then rode to geylang for the first time too this ramadan! hahahaha. i was trying to find some bargains on kueh2 as well as some baju raya and songkok.... in the end, just got myself a songkok as well as some keuh2 for family. walked at geylang for almost 3hours which by then we rode back to tampines. amalina was so so super nice and thoughtful when she offered to pay for my cab back home. she didnt wanna send me back home and ride back home alone. she didnt want anything to happen to me during this festive season.... =) miss hari raya prayers because whole family slept late. haiz... what a waste. went for the normal hari raya visit... but the highlight of the day was man utd vs man city! what a match boy! thanks for the winning goal owen! back to work on tuesday and i am really sick of it. our company is going through a new system implementation.... its such a pain in the ass to learn the system on the very first day it was kicked off. i know i am young and easy to absorb new techniques and information.... but its not fair! feel so pressurized. if im not getting bonuses next year and pay rise, im gonna make a lot of noise! hahaha anyway, amalina is at my place now... watching tv with parents. she promised to come over my place during her 2months break before she starts working. =) love you dear. |

last 4days of fasting... this fasting month, it felt so fast! its no longer felt like how it used to be when i was in primary or secondary school and was always counting down the number of days left to hari raya. there's always something special to look forward to after 30days of fasting e.g. hari raya prayers at the mosque, getting collection money from parents and uncles/aunties and the best part is to go to grandparents place. from there, we'll get to meet all my cousins and it was soccer at the void deck with the cousins. confirm will get some pinching and scoldings from mum when she finds out we played soccer with our baju kurung....hahahaha. those were the days boy... and now, its totally a different set of feeling. fasting doesnt feel fun like how it used to be. i guess its all the work and stress that i care. shitty work with a shitty pay but i keep telling myself that its okay... its a stepping stone for me to build my career. my brother had just ORD few days ago, but somehow, he is volunteering to extend his service to serve another 6more months in Thailand due to some operational manpower problem. he's leaving singapore on the 2nd day of hari raya and parents kinda sad and dissapointed. but the good thing is that, he's gonna get paid a lot. i mean really a lot for 6months of work! wishing him all the best again and come back safe. gonna miss you again for another 6months brother. anyway, as im blogging now, gf is riding her bike back home to tampines. her bike have reached the 1000km mileage in three weeks! so far im quite satisfied with the bike. =) been going to places that we have never been before and not to worry for last train or bus anymore. i was on medical leave today. it was my first official one full day MC of the year! been a good worker okay. anyway, i got diarrhea la... but almost recovered by the time i went to the doctor. so today, went to kallang leisure park and it was dead boring la there... the only attraction is just coffee bean, starbucks, pastamania, movies and ice skating. cheh.... how can they make money from there man... after breaking fast at coffee bean, headed to marina barrage! went there last year for its opening with New Paper Big Walk.... nice place to chill out ah.... then on, to lau pa sat for supper with satay! have always been our favourite dish. =) okay la, gotta go to sleep now! ciao. |

600km for just only 12 litres? can u believe it? it has been almost 8days with our newly found love. gf is getting better with her riding skills and definitely more confident! kudos to her for such improvement! =) been riding from one coast to another coast for countless of times! anyway, after my exam just now, we rode from NYP to town and then to west coast for supper. after supper, we rode from West Coast to Tuas and to Changi Airport.... that was far. took us around an hour! my ass is sore right now. and then gf sent me back home to jurong and back to tampines. hahaha long story cut short; we actually just want to finish running in of the bike's first 800km. this bike is really worth it la. thanks to gf paying the whole amount with cash and dont need to worry about monthly installment. yeah she bought it, not me. but im gonna spend on the variable cost of the bike... e.g Fuel. i still die die wanna go jb and fill up the tank... to fill full tank here cost me $24 on shell formula 98. in JB i believe gonna cost me only RM24, maybe? hahaha i hope gf will be brave enough one day to go jb with just me and top up malaysia minyak. like that can top up shell V-Power siol... still cheaper. then bike also can fly sia like that. hahahahahaha. hmm when can i start my practical for car.... hmmm...... |

I've got no money, no money but YOU! hahaha. been watching a youtube video of a Korean uniformed guy dancing to the song by Wondergirls - Nobody But You. its hilarious la... but i gotta respect him cos he can make such moves. Mambo Jambo needs people like him! hahaha. wow, i've been working like MAD! past two saturdays was burnt from overtime work. but thats a good thing actually. will be smiling wider this coming pay day. =) actually at work right now, i really feel bo chap. i cannot wait till next year. if i dont get 300-400 pay rise nexxt january, i am LEAVING but only after march 2010 bonus. =P oh well, last saturday was the day that we finally decide to get ourselves a new machine! past midnight, i was at bud's watching man utd against arsenal. we were lucky enough. it was nice again to sahur with them. dont know when should we organise breaking fast together this month. was waiting anxiously for monday. come 6pm at Bukit Merah Lane3, FBDxxxxR was created and vroom vroom vrooooom we went. it was kinda scary to be riding for the first time on the road. especially after not riding for a long time and with a pillion. road was busy, but i was brimming with confidence and told myself that i can do it no matter how. got our way from queenstown to bukit batok for a proper break-fast. amalina was kinda scared la... but somehow she pulled it through and was brave enough to be with me throughout our first journey. after break fast, went on to bukit batok neighbourhood carpark and she had some practice and pillion me around the neighbourhood. she did fine considering after few months not riding it. next had to go back to tampines and sent her back home as well as parking our beloved machine there. =) journey back to PIE & KPE was exciting. it was my first time riding on an expressway with my beloved darling as pillion. hahahaha. it was a leisure and damn cooling to ride at night. i took off from work the next day. but it was a wrong day to take such off cos it rained the whole day. we had to be cautious and start riding only when the rain stopped. somehow it took quite a long time till late afternoon till it stopped. by then we got into her mum's car and drove to serangoon to buy some bike accessories. break fast at komala's and head back to tamp straightaway. got onto our bike and vrooom vrrooom all the way to ECP. i hate taxi la... they are always fast and drive very closely to riders. a lot of times have i heard riders get knocked down by taxis... well anyway, berhati-hati di jalan raya! =) after ECP, made my dearest pillion me and ride along the coast route then to ECP and then to changi airport! i like the road to changi la... reminds me of my past holidays... =) the next day, i was so lazy to go back to work.... haiz. anyway, managed to go through the day. gf and her mum fetched me from b.lay and head all the way tamp. got on to the bike and we there we go again... this time to Yishun Dam... i was always fond of that place. reminds me of my NS days when me and the guys always lepak there during nights out. going back home, gf took over me and ride the bike back to tamp. she was better off this time and confident riding at SLE/TPE. im proud that she's very fast to adapt. =) im looking forward to end work tomorrow. going to ride again till we sahur together. and this weekend's going to be fun too! but... i gotta study. exams is just around the corner. next week infact. =/ |
