what the gwan? i'm currently at Changi General Hospital. wareded for a bad fracture on my left fibula bone and left ankle skidded from motorbike on saturday morning at kallang PIE. it happened so fast, i jam braked, wheels got locked and front tyre went like fishtail. i landed on my left and got my left leg stucked underneath the bike. i though i could pull it out, but wtf, i felt a crack when i tried to remove my leg. two bikers helped me up, push the bike to the side and brought me up on my two legs. tried to walk, but my left ankle gave away. i was at the first lane, most right lane. i pushed myself hard and got on the bike. rode it to the shoulder and stopped for a while. i kept telling myself all i wanted to do is to see my girlfriend. i dont want to call the ambulance or what. but i just wanna see her. so yeah, i rode slowly all the way to tampines. it was of course, painful but with all my might, i just kept going wanting to see her... thank god i made it alive and saw her. had some initial ice cold compression to my bruised ankle and wound. park the bike at her carpark and proceed to cgh. got into cgh thinking that it was just a bad ankle sprain, but no. a&e doctor said it was a bad fracture and i need to admit. i was quite sad and dissapointed to hear the news. i dont know how to tell my parents about it, but later when i got into my bed, i managed to pick up my courage and called mum. lucky she didnt panicked. surprisingly, talib's friend is working in the ward as a staff nurse & taking care of my section! thanks for taking care of me on my first day rachel! i just had to meet her here. haha. had a lot of xrays.... was on drip the whole saturday... then at 6pm, i was told to change into surgical gown and get ready for operation. i was shit scared la. my first time having an operation. before entering the operating theater, doc had a look at my leg again. it was too swollen and a no go was called. again, i was dissapointed because this means im going to stay longer in the ward and wait till tuesday for the next schedule. haiz. got back to my ward, my parents came along with my younger bro and his gf and then, gf came as well as my good friends. shakin, talib, irwan, 'ain, imran all came down to visit me that day. i felt touched. =) on sunday, amalina's best friend came with her. it was nice of her to fetch my gf to hospital to see me. it was fun chatting around and taking some pictures. all these things cheers me up while im sitting down here alone. =) lucky i got my parents to bring my laptop plus my starhub modem... so i could surf the net here. i cannot live without internet! hahaha. harith, my fellow soon to be biker, came down in the evening! haha. thanks for coming dude and giving me support. =) good luck on your first full time job bro! spend some quality time with gf at night... she wheelchaired me downstairs to the open space. talked with her till she got bored and she itchy hand and played with some of the wheelchair's knob that made the leg rest on the swerve sideways. and guess which side of the leg rest moved? the left one. when it happened, i dont know if i should shout in pain or laugh my ass off. hahahha it was painfully funny. lol. classic sia. today, a friend of mine from NS came. he's currently a volunteer in the civil servant as Traffic Police. i truly admire him. he has the passion and time to become one. aside from that, he is a good rider and humble. respect. i wanna be like him one day. so does my gf. maybe both of us can take the course together one day. =) damn... this accident really make me feel so stupid. trouble a lot of people especially my dearest girlfriend and my family. =( i promise i will make it to them as well as my friends. =) really appreciate your support. my dearest amalina really sacrificed a lot for me. i know she's exhausted and tired. and especially she has just started her new job. A BIG THANK YOU TO MY SAYANG! =) p/s: hope my operation tonight/tomorrow morning will be okay. =) |
