selamat hari raya to all my muslim friends! im gonna miss ramadan.... and gotta wait for another 1 year for it... to date, i was working almost 6days a week during ramadan. it was so challenging but i managed to pull it through. =) yeah, was working part time at barclays at raffles quay last saturday. it was so worth it. got paid alot for just a few hours of work. thanks touchbaseglobal! and thanks to the project manager for letting us home early so that we could be at home to prepare for hari raya the next day. =) hope that there's more work from them again soon. i dont mind fixing IP phones in offices. quite at simple job for a good amount of money. left early, rode back to tampines for gf to change and set ourselves off to bugis. wanted to breakfast @ hajah maimunah... but too bad, it was close for business. gf went for some shopping around bugis... and then on, had our first proper breaking fast together for this ramadan. previously, it was all with friends and having take away food. =) i am always emotional on the night of hari raya.... i would tear when i listen the takbir. hahaha! then rode to geylang for the first time too this ramadan! hahahaha. i was trying to find some bargains on kueh2 as well as some baju raya and songkok.... in the end, just got myself a songkok as well as some keuh2 for family. walked at geylang for almost 3hours which by then we rode back to tampines. amalina was so so super nice and thoughtful when she offered to pay for my cab back home. she didnt wanna send me back home and ride back home alone. she didnt want anything to happen to me during this festive season.... =) miss hari raya prayers because whole family slept late. haiz... what a waste. went for the normal hari raya visit... but the highlight of the day was man utd vs man city! what a match boy! thanks for the winning goal owen! back to work on tuesday and i am really sick of it. our company is going through a new system implementation.... its such a pain in the ass to learn the system on the very first day it was kicked off. i know i am young and easy to absorb new techniques and information.... but its not fair! feel so pressurized. if im not getting bonuses next year and pay rise, im gonna make a lot of noise! hahaha anyway, amalina is at my place now... watching tv with parents. she promised to come over my place during her 2months break before she starts working. =) love you dear.
