i felt like abandoning this blog for a month and so i did. hehehe. actually, i was just lazy. anyway after a month hiatus., here are the updates for late november till now (its going to be a long entry!) 26 November 2008 - 1 December 2008 4days in bali was not enough man! the trip was so freaking awesome!! i dont really like doing water sports... but bali changed it all. i learnt how to surf from the local beach boys. and its not easy to surf... i only managed to stand and surf a few times. the rest of the time... i F-A-I-L-E-D!! hahaha. 1st day... 4 of us left changi airport to denpasar airport. destination: hard rock hotel, kuta. its the best ever hotel i've stayed in my life. where ever i walked around the hotel, never did i fail to see a smile or greetings from their staffs. the hotel was cozy, big, and the amenities were fantastic! i love our LOFT room. the room had a very high ceiling, and hence a 2nd level built inside the room. sui ah. in the evening, i went back to denpasar airport and fetch gf who flew here alone with jetstar airline. too bad she had to go for school during the day. but im happy that she came along. =) 2nd day.... my very first experience in surfing! it was hot, wet and nasty!!! the waves are great la... i always hated the sea...but surfing made me enjoy it. =) after surfing, had lunch at PIZZA HUT! we had a bloody pizza hut frenzy la.. everyday we had pizza man! it was so much cheaper in bali. a large pizza with stuff crust and generous ingredients cost us just SGD$12.00! in singapore, it will cost us like 3-4times more? hahahahah and their customer service was tip-top! for dinner, we went to jimbaran bay. wow, its a place to dine in by the beach for sure. seafood was fresh and nice. the ambeince was great la... very romantic. wahahahaha. the sunset was the most beautiful thing i've seen in bali with my own eyes beside my gf. hehehe. then onwards after dinner, we went to the club. wah happening la... but it was infested with ang mohs. all drunk and irritating. but heck la, i was there to enjoy myself too... but it was kinda scary too (you know with the bombings and stuff) 3rd day... nothing much except for shopping time! siao eh. nike stuffs are way way cheaper there la... its like almost SGD$20-30 cheaper than singapore la. hmmm. somebody shop a lot also la... buy roxy stuffs la...volcom stuff la... hahahaha. and so did i. :p. again, lunch at pizza hut. hahaha. but during dinner... bought pizza and pasta... got a beach mat and ta dah! a romantic D.I.Y dinner by kuta beach. sui ah! at night, head to a salsa club/bar. nice place to chill out... if there wasnt a competition that night, we might have learn salsa for free as stated at their notice board... 3rd day.... 4th day... it was time to go home... but guess what, our flight was at 12midnight! hahaha so yeah, i surfed with the guys again and i sent gf for a massage. she complained that the guy who massage her tried to flirt with her la!! wa lao... nvm la.. as long as she's safe and relaxed after the massage can liao. then came the last minute shopping.... bought gifts for parents and friends. nothing much also la that day except for a feast at pizza hut again for our last dinner at bali! hahahahaha. got back to Singapore at bloody 3am++ i am definitely going back to bali next year! 7 Dec 2008 my NS friend got married on this date! wa lao... so young get married already ah... but he's one year older than me. but husband and wife are nurses! sui ah! it was a great time hanging out with my NS guys once again... all those mats really crack me up. 13 Dec 2008 it was a hectic week. there's a lot of work to be done. with zero overtime policy, it seems so hard to finish up my work on time. some of the days, i have to work at home after office hours! at home, i will check/reply emails, do some recording of documentations, update some excel sheet.... haiz. never ending. i wanna be a boss, run and observe the show... i target before 30, i will be somebody who will just sit in the office and supervise. hahaha! anyways, today was totally a new experience for me, gf, mum & dad and my younger brother. it started off me fetching gf from her place. she was all psyched up to meet my parents! i was her first time doing so! it was my first experience also to let my parents meet my gf! hahahaha. had lunch at bugis, then went to fetch parents and headed to SAFTI Military Institue for my younger brother, khairiz, officer cadet commissioning parade. it was really grand la. im very proud and happy for him! well, it was a great event.. took loads of video and pictures. tested out our new samsung NV100HD. cool shit la that camera. but somehow, my nikon d60 picture quality is still superior than samsung's. after the parade, we said goodbyes to my parents and brother... and left for jurong point. speaking of jurong point... that place is so freaking crowded! i thought after the opening of jurong point extension, the human traffic is going to ease.. but noooo!!! its still packed! haiz... 20 december 2008 singapore versus vietnam. yes we deserved to lose. why bank so much on foreign players? Precious was lousy, mustafic is slow! get rid of them la. and stop playing a boring long passing tactic la. their tactic is so damn obvious! anyway, vietnam really deserve to win the match and i pity the vietnamese guys who go beaten up by our fellow singaporeans. freaking cowards they all are to beat winners, no sportsmanship! 27 december 2008 hmm, had a good week. thanks to christmas holiday. had a good sleep, cleaned up my room and laundry... spend a lot of time with gf. met the guys for a boxing day soccer match at buds and poker game after that. it was fun catching up! and gf made me brownies. its the best ever brownie i had tasted in my life! its better than mrs fields!! lets open a business and sell brownies! hahahaha. anyways, today went to ECP after such a long haitus from that place. its our favourite place to hang out la! both of us must really get our class 3 license and buy a car (if we can afford)! hahaha. so i treated gf with a very heavy meal! thai fried rice, 4 bbq chicken wings, stingray sambal and satay!! sat by the automated skiing water park.... so yeah, we ate... and gf was swaying her legs on the water... suddenly she jerked and said there was a fish. i was like are you sure? hahaha...yeah i didnt believe her la! she kept calling back for the fish la.... 'fish fish come here! fish fish....' hahha very cute ah you. and the fish came back..... and this time with a freaking WHITE JELLY FISH. i am like shock sia. where did this white jelly fish come from... and why is it alone? took a picture of it. but im too lazy to upload it now. its 2am already and im tired! and the jelly fish went away with the current... next i told gf... 'I'll give you $50 if you can find the jelly fish again if not you have to give me a hug!' 2mins passed and almost wanted to give up... i was waiting for the hug la... then suddenly something white-ish appeared. shit la, she won the bet. there goes my $50! nvm la, i still got my hug anyway. hehehehe. =) i am currently happy and enjoying life as it is. maybe its just the holiday mood!
