After 3weeks of intense long hours of training under the hot sun for the SAF day parade, its finally over last sunday! we felt victorious and pure satisfaction once we marched out from the parade square at the end of it. who wouldnt be right? we have had sessions after sessions of standing for 1hour 40minutes on the hot parade square doing drills everytime. all the back aches, muscle sores, darken skin eventhough we put on the sunblocks.... shiok ah!
anyway, i was in the medical corp contingent. we are the best marching contingent so far for SAF day parade 2007, says so the SAF seargent major. =)
i ended my parade around 7.... then i headed back home.... packed my stuff and off to Kuala Lumpur!! hehehe. it was a short 3days 3night break for me... i badly need it la. it was like 2years 6months since i last visited KL. i went with the only one. =)
my aim to go there was just to eat, movie, starbuck-ing, enjoy the city life and sleep and i didnt intend to shop. i had a strict budget of $200 and yes, i managed to do so. and i also manage to buy 2 shirts okay!!! one quiksilver and Everlast shirt, both original. thank you megasale malaysia. lol!!!
caught the transformer movie at klcc... wah lao, its the best movie of the year la... power dok! then for the first time in my life, i tried indoor rock climbing at 1utama shopping centre. this one lagi power. it was a total body workout and suddenly it became one of my favourite sports...
i tried bouldering and top rope. i was such a wuss la... climb so high doing top rope....when i reach the top, i looked down and became scared to climb down. WAHAHAHAHA! had no confidence la... actually no need to climb down... just do some abseiling can liao... lucky my dear can do belaying.. she's level 1 belayer trained yah... =)
i had fun. seriously rock climbing is a sport that one should try!!

and thats one part to rest your legs..... your head ah!! my hands was still clinging on... damn tiring. till now, both of my forearms are still sore!!!

somebody pro seh.... teach me to climb some more! thanks dear!

other than that, all we did there was just to find nice food to try. =)

and for the first time in my life, i took the TRAIN back from KL to JB. for RM33 of a 6hours journey..... it was quite okay. but i think i'd prefer to take the night journey cos beds are provided. if hungry, there's canteen in the train!! =)
KL Sentral!

anyway, it was such a nice memorable trip for me..

i need to work out more! i wanna get a buffer body! thats my aim by the time i ORD. 11more months to go lo!
